Dr. Doan Nguyen is a board-certified orthopaedic surgeon who has been in practice for several years, graduated in July 1999. He specializes in treating some of the most difficult and complicated cases involving comminuted fractures. He has performed thousands of malunion and non-union cases that include hip fractures, hip replacements and knee replacement. Dr. Nguyen offers specialized care for injuries, including sports medicine, joint reconstruction, joint replacement surgery, fracture reconstructive surgery, and foot and ankle reconstruction.
Dr. Nguyen graduated from MIT with a Master's in Mechanical Engineering with distinction before becoming a Board-Certified Orthopaedic Surgeon. From 2004-2005, he was a member of an Orthopaedic Trauma Fellowship at Tulane and Charity Hospital, where he practiced many trauma cases in the emergency unit. Since 2005, he has been a member of the Academic Faculty at the prestigious Baylor College of Medicine, where he holds the position as an Assistant Professor in the Orthopaedic Department. His achievements and credentials make him one of the highest qualified Orthopaedic Surgeons in the greater Houston area.
